The largest heat accumulator in Europe !

It is with great joy and pride that we would like to announce that it is us – TDCC – who will design the tank of the largest heat accumulator in Europe! PROEN Sp. z o.o., the company responsible for comprehensive projects as part of the construction of Żerań CHP, has entrusted us with a key task – to perform design work on a heat accumulator tank with an impressive capacity of 61,000 m³, which corresponds to 61 million litres. To illustrate this gigantic scale, it would be enough to fill 1,742 fuel tanks! To better illustrate the scale of the investment, here are some interesting comparisons:

The estimated weight of the tank is 1,700 tons, which is equivalent to:

- 5 Boeing 747 aircraft

- 1,133 passenger cars

- 21,000 adults

61,000 m³ in turn:

- corresponds to over 40 million 1.5l bottles of water

- will fill 305,000 bathtubs at once

- average water consumption per person is 150 liters per day, so such a tank would be enough for one person for 1,114 years!
